Inside, you’ll find an extra-large bathroom featuring a low-profile tub and a wide bathroom door for ease of use. The cozy queen bed is easily accessible from both sides, ensuring a comfortable stay. To enhance your experience, we offer in-room breakfast service at no additional cost, and our friendly staff is always on hand to provide any additional assistance you may need.

"We stayed in the The Black Walnut Suite and it was lovely. We had a huge bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed, a large living room, kitchen and bathroom. The suite was tastefully decorated with high end furnishings and it was spotlessly clean. There were thoughtful touches like q-tips and extra towels and the breakfast was delicious. "The obvious lead is our delicious breakfast, but every aspect of our stay at this charming inn was wonderful. The host family bought the inn last summer and since then have made some beautiful upgrades while maintaining the beauty and integrity of this gracious home. We loved its high ceilings, natural wood floors including one room in rarely seen black walnut, large windows, comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. There is inviting common space as well. Close to downtown Amherst and college campuses, the Black Walnut Inn is a great place to stay."

“Our experience at the Black Walnut Inn was fantastic! Our rooms were beautiful and comfortable. My friends and I even talked the next day about how comfortable the beds were. My friends had the larger room because it had a sitting area for us to sit and chat into the evening. The inn is just lovely. I took many pictures of my friends' room and the fireplaced main sitting room all for inspiration in decorating my next home. The breakfast was lovely as we sat on the indoor porch in an alcove with lots of windows. I'm GF so had to be accommodated in the breakfast and they were more than happy to help and were very careful. Will go back certainly and have already recommended to several coworkers.”
